I am responding to the right thread and you did not explain things well in your original comment.

I won't deny for a moment that your crush is unhealthy and something you need to move on from, but you really need to explain how it is you know this guy. Your comments have been too ambiguous, and as far as I can tell you don't actually know this guy all that well, and definitely not in any meaningful sense.

The facts as I see them is that he showed interest in you that you chose not to reciprocate, then you showed interest in him that he chose not to reciprocate, and then the two of you went through a phase where you would both alternate between hot and cold, interest and disinterest.

There is also this fixation on your part on this other girl and his relationship with her, which is again something you haven't explained in any detail besides that he shows what you believe to be interest in her. The most alarming thing about this situation for me is the amount hurt you are doing to yourself over what appears to be from perspective a situation you should not be so emotionally invested in.

Your relationship with this guy seems to be based upon miscommunication and misunderstanding on both your parts that has by your admission spanned years.

Also calling him a douche is infantile and a classic example of the Fable of the Fox and the Grapes.

I am not saying you are lying, because I don't think you are, but I don't think your being entirely open or honest with us, and in turn yourself.

So I guess, what it is I'm asking is, how do you know this guy exactly?
