[Miller] I thought Mariota was going to be amazing. He hasn’t had a lot of continuity at OC of course, but doesn’t seem like he’ll ever be an attacking QB. Takes what he’s given and is too timid for my taste. Not a “bad” QB, but not really a good one either.

Mariota being timid is the best description I can think of. Which is a shame because to be amongst the best QBs in the league you really cannot have that in your DNA.

I feel like Mariota is just too nice. Don't feel like he has any competitive spirit.

Of course, JWinston is the opposite of the above issues. However, JWinston has other problems, like poor decision making, bad deep ball accuracy, questionable arm at times.

Seems like QBs nowadays either have it or don't. Very rarely do we see a QB grow into an elite player. They either show glimpses early and develop that or they never show any glimpses and instead hold entire fanbases, hostage, until they are violently booted out of the organization (ahem Tannehill ahem).
