Mizzou Hunger Striker Claims He’s Oppressed, Rips ‘White Privilege’ – Comes From Family Worth $20 Million

What do you mean everything about our country puts blacks specifically at a disadvantage. My BLACK best friend's family is better off than my family. His dad is a pilot, and he just got his pilots license while going to school at the same time. I don't know if you realize how expensive getting a pilots license is. It's not his fault, my fault, or anyone's fault that his family can afford to pay for his school and his siblings' school while my family cannot. I'm not complaining in any way, it's just the hand I've been dealt that I have to pay for my school myself because my academic scholarships don't cover all of my tuition. Back to the point of everything our country does puts blacks at a disadvantage. We have a black president, is that a disadvantage? We have groups like Black Lives Matter which make outrageous claims and movements that any rational thinking person can see as being parallel with criminal activities. But it's seen as okay because they had to face slavery and Jim Crow laws through the lives of their ancestors with no real experience of what their ancestors had to face. It's honestly a little sad and belittling that they would compare the struggles their ancestors fought so hard against to the oppression they face today. Instead of moving forward and becoming progressive they demand compensation for something they had no part of. I understand that blacks are more likely to go to jail or be killed before the age of 18 than a white person is but maybe the problem lies in upbringing. When you teach your children that they are victim whether they are or not, they become a victim. Instead of teaching your children to adapt and overcome confrontation most people today rely on pointing the finger and playing the blame game and I think that's where the problem comes from. Sure I can admit there is still a form of oppression of blacks in this country. But it's ignorant to claim there is not a form of oppression against whites. Theoretically, if we were to create a group that wanted sought equal rights for everyone while also having anti-white discrimination being in their agenda to fix, the group would quickly be dismissed as white supremacy. Why is it that racism towards whites cannot exist? Because we're all so much more privileged than our black counterparts? No. It's because people nowadays (of every color and not just about slavery) believe they are entitled to something their ancestors faced. Now back to the Black Lives Matter movement, I think there are people in that movement that joined it because they truly want a better life for their families because they may have been oppressed in some shape or form, but the organization itself, what it has become is a toxic mess of hate against whites.
