Mods Will Censor In 3...2...

Let me ask this very real question....

Why is this a big deal to anyone? Why?

Do the mods make money off of Okswing? Apparently no. But if they did, why would you care? I wouldn't expect you to do your job for free, so why is it so damn important to you that they do theirs for free (they do)?

As mods, their main job is to keep the peace in here. If they see things that can start a flame war and endless squabbling, then it is THEIR JOB to delete it or lock it. Nobody needs internet slap fights, and nobody wants to read them. It's their job to delete things if they can see where it is going to lead.

Censorship you say? Well, you have an option I say. Stop coming to r/swingers and start an r/swingersquestions subreddit to where you can be the creator/moderator/judge/jury/executioner. Do that, and when it hits 12,000 members, come back here and tell us all how you've never locked or deleted a post or banned a person. I swear, it's like you're a teenager who says "when I grow up, I'm going to let my children do anything they want. I'll never be like my parents and have rules for them." yeah, become a parent and do that. You'll quickly find that you're raising monsters that will hurt society, not help it.

But I'll loop back to my original question: Why do you care? Like seriously. Conflict of interest? Why do you care? Do you have a vested interest in other swing websites? Conflict of interest in what? It's like some people want to bitch simply to bitch. The mods don't own a multi-billion dollar corporation where a conflict of interest can actually impact someone's life, so step off your damn high horse for a second and realize that you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

I haven't seen such irrational thought processes since last weekend when my 9 year old threw a hissy fit over us making her go out to play instead of spend all day playing video games.

If you don't like it in r/swingers, you have options: a) start your own subreddit, b) simply leave. none of us will miss you just like none of us would miss me. Instead of being negative, how about we all be POSITIVE to the swinging community and keep healthy, productive discussions going instead of demanding that r/swingers be run like a damn fortune 500 corporation with anit-trust laws, stock holders that demand no conflicts of interest, and all that garbage. Enjoy this FREE subreddit for what it is. If people could stop bitching for 5 damn seconds and realize that life can be good, maybe this world would be a better place to live in.
