Monthly What are My Chances? Thread

So, I just graduated this last May, I'm a NYC resident. My Cgpa is 3.4, sgpa closer to 3.1. MCAT is a 501 (127 P/S, 128 CARS, 124, 122, B/S (fuck my life, especially because I was a bio major), 124, psych. Didn't even bother applying to MD schools,

applying to like 14 DO schools:

AT Still (both campuses) PCOM NYCOM MSUCOM NOVA University of New England COM Ohio University COM Touro COM (all 3 campuses) LECOM (both campuses)

I'm also applying to all 4 Israeli schools (Ben Gurion, Tel Aviv, Technion, and Hebrew)

In addition to this, applying to all 4 top Caribbean schools (Ross, SGU, AUC, and SABA)

I'm 25 years old, so I would really like to start med school this year, I could conceivably not mind to wait a year and improve my MCAT, but its a super last resort, really dont want to.

In terms of extracurriculars, I spent a summer as a volunteer in a local hospital shadowing Anesthesiologists and Nurses in a post op room. I also spent 6 months as a volunteer EMT in a local volunteer ambulance. I had a summer internship in Jerusalem, Israel with a bit of clinical research but mostly shadowing a few primary care MDs over the summer. I have recommendations from 3 professors (2 science), my research supervisor over my time in Israel, and an employer in a non-medically related position over 5 years. Currently trying to find a DO to shadow as well as a DPM if it comes to that, just because I applied to two Podiatry schools:

NY college of Podiatry

&

Kent State College of Podiatry

At this point, assuming every DO school rejects me, I'm thinking of taking any acceptances I get from the Israeli schools for an MD, I would seriously weigh that against any DO acceptances I get, probably DO here in the US. If I get nothing from that, I would go to a podiatry school, last resort take one of the Carribbean schools for an MD (so far, I got an interview at Ross)
