Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread

Cut help. Shitty genetics have given me a layer of fat and puffy tits since I was a kid. Even while skinny or in good shape it is there. I’ve been cutting for a bit and am currently at 150 from about 170 at 5’8” and seeing some results. I don’t really want to get much under 150. I have been able to maintain my lifts throughout and only losing a bit during the cut. I’m using a cheap body fat monitor that I don’t take as gospel but use to see if I’m trending down. I measure once a week or so. So I measured today and I went up for the first time since the cut. I also weighed myself and I am at my lowest. Nothing else has changed. Diet deficit, lifts, etc. So this is my worst case scenario. Losing weight and not losing or gaining fat. What gives? Should I ramp up cardio?
