I won't take a girl hiking until I've slept with them. I value my hobby very much. I consider it an extension of myself and a part of my adventurous nature. That doesn't mean my adventurous qualities only occur while hiking, however. ;)

OP, thank you for sharing this. I understand the criticisms from other folks here. Regardless, you were being genuine in the sense that you feel someone should show themselves. That works, but many guys hide themselves for this very reason. That being said, the dude has much to learn if he takes this harshly. I'm saying that with empathy, as I have gone through my own rejections, some of which I didn't handle well. This should not detract him from his hobby, nor should it detract him from finding someone that matches his wants.
