He has a full-time and well paying job and has a Master's degree from an IV university in a class subject (mine is not so prestigious). So he's both educated and financially stable. My parents are aware of all of this and constantly praise him for it.

Our cultures are from entirely different worlds. Mine is big, emotional, loud and hand gestures. His is quiet, reserved and polite. My culture says what's on their mind and his will find a way to say it nicely or not at all. We like to have fun, drink and dance. His is introverted.

I completely understand his perspective. That's why I always thank him for putting up with my family for me and usually I would tolerate this from him but I was really hoping that this one night would just be nice.
