Think if someone canceled plans with you - would you blow up, insult them, and take pictures of the meal to rub it in their face? That's such bullshit.

My family did the same thing when I was in college and made my first (and only) group of friends. They called them heidonists, said they don't care about me, said that their relationships don't matter, and I believed them. It made me go into a spiral of depression that landed me in the psych ward for weeks, and they lied to the staff instead of admitting any kind of fault or conversation they had with me that led me to the crisis. It is fucking bullshit that the people who are supposed to help you the most do this shit to you. That's why we end up like this.
