Im a sewist and thrifty. I found this jacket (in November) at savers for 5 dollars and fell in love with it. Obviously its pleather. I knew getting it, it wouldn't last long but I'm just so unhappy today. Went to go get some kiddos off the bus and discovered a peeling tear in the sleeve. Took only 5 minutes to use some black floss to cover it up. Looks okay. But I can not take this. It's only gonna fall apart from here. I think I'm just going to redonate it. I hate to pawn the problem off on someone else, but there is literally no way to repair pleather. Or I could keep repairing it and watch it wither and die in a years time. What do you guys suggest?
