If you don't think you are going to meet the deadline, contact the relevant teaching staff as soon as possible. Explain your situation and ask if an extension is possible.

It sounds like you have been suffering from depression, so it might be a good idea to see a doctor about this, if you haven't done so already. They may be able to give you a medical evidence note that will help get an extension. They will also be able to give you advice about getting support. Universities usually have counseling services, too (although the waiting lists are really long).

It doesn't sound as if you're enjoying your studies at all. I understand that you don't want to drop out, but it might be worth considering whether getting the qualification is worth putting yourself though this. Is this is your first semester? If so, you'll have many more deadlines in semester two. Andy if you want to pursue this area professionally, you will also have deadlines, etc. in your future career. I don't mean to be negative but thinking about why you're doing this course and what your future goals are might help you think about the big picture.
