Nick Clegg: Chickens are coming home to roost now for panicking Brexiteers

The economy I'm guessing.

Because of course there we're no warnings and of course no one was expecting a hit /s.

Though I have to say, food prices have been rising and food portions have been shrinking for years anyway. i remember when Walkers Crisps used to be 27p and that was only a few years ago.

The 'don't trust the experts' narrative and the 'stupid' and 'uneducated' narratives together are pretty powerful. Pretty condescending as well, personally I know PhD's and entrepreneurs who voted Leave. Of course anecdotal evidence doesn't mean shit but literally all the smartest people I know voted Leave.

I'm getting a bit tired of all the Remainer revisionism and all the people pretending this isn't a nuanced issue with good arguments on both sides.

And I didn't vote Leave. But I wish I did. The undermining of the vote that is happening is simply despicable.

As someone who tirelessly defended Mr Clegg over tuition fees I'm a bit pissed really. They are the Liberal Democrats and their post-referendum behaviour has lost my vote.
