Nixon Library would like to remind everyone: Nixon didn’t fire an FBI director

er... what?

1) im sorry to have pointed out that i had just watched conflicting info from what i consider reliable sources. I took ownership for that right off the top. Im a horrible person for asking a question relevant to the topic posted. what a horrible person i am.

I was hoping someone would give me insight as to why this article was so different then the information that was coming to me through my google feeds.

Instead i got trolled.

If you were calling me out on my BS then you'd be making your own position on the article known, rather than giving me crap for asking why so many media sources were saying something different.

So far i can't tell if you think Nixon did fire his FBI director or not. You've offered nothing other than to troll me on my confusion on the topic.

2) Google tells me Nixon did indeed fire his fbi director, as my youtube feed suggested, which was in direct conflict to this article. So this article is BS, i guess. Thanks for your insight.

Again, that was the point i was making; Conflicting information to the linked article in the post.

3) History is a very broad topic. i majored in other topics, not american history.

Your example was pretty weak given that everyone who had a country involved in ww2 should know who Hitler was, as it was directly relevant to their country.

Here's a better example; Do you know why Canada's current PM's father was so controversial? ...and thusly why the current PM is also controversial? Probably not. nor would i expect you to if you're not Canadian. Why would you care to?

I know the basics of Nixon thing... not the minutiae like the FBI director firing thing. It did not really effect me or my country. Id likely have trouble finding another everyday Canadian that would, either. I guess we are all idiots up here in Canada.

4) yes. i do think that's what you were dogging me about not looking up this nixon thing for you.

The reason is because the point i was making was that the info given here didn't jive with other info i had received previous to viewing this post. You gave no opinion or talking points and your arguments are lacking in anything of value... which reminds me of T_D in that instead of making a point, you started to insult me.

This reeks of T_D trolling.

Im not sure why you should feel badly for me... or why its so entertaining that i'd ask reddit a direct question about the sourced article posted.

Given Sen. Franklins posted speach, it seems pretty clear the US has been taken over by russia (as far as both sides of the senate believes, at least, according to said senator).
