My sister works as a Death Analyst for a state's forensic's department. Some of her dinner time conversations aren't so appropriate, but are extremely entertaining nonetheless. One of my personal favorites is tied to an autoerotic asphyxiation story as well.

The first case involved an actual suicide at an Insomnia Cookies. eClaire goes into work one morning, opens up shop, puts in the first batch of cookies for the day, then hangs herself in the bathroom. (For those of you wondering, what happened to the cookies?! Good question. My sisters crew asked to bring them back to the office, but for fear of what she may have done to them prior to the incident, it was decided that was a bad idea).

So it goes. A couple days later, my sister takes a case for another "suicide" for a male in his twenties. Incident occurred at his parents home. After entering the room, she notices the victim is clearly tied to the door of his bedroom with a laptop at the desk in front of him. Here's when things get weird.

She checks the laptop to find something she's never even heard of: My Little Pony porn. Bewildered, she gathers herself to finish the rest her of duties in the room. As she checks her surrounding area, she notices this room is straight FLOODED with My Little Pony. Toys, posters, you name it. It's everywhere. (Now, remember, this guy is 20-something and living with mom and dad. They have to know he's into this stuff, right?)

She has to talk to mom and dad and go over procedure and whatnot. The parents are clearly upset. They also mention the peculiar timing of their son's death. Apparently one of his friends had committed suicide just a few days ago. She asks about it, and realizes it was the worker from insomnia cookies! Turns out, they were coworkers at this shop and we're pretty close friends. Rough goings for that cookie shop.
