Regarding legal land sales: yes, it was perfectly legal for Jewish immigrants to do what they did. They were well within their rights (as far as the dwindling Ottoman empire was concerned) when they turned out the people that lived on their land. But was it morally right to do so? It's legal to lure and then fuck a 15 year old girl in France. In Saudi Arabia, it's legal for you to marry a 12 year old. That doesn't make it right.

Let's be perfectly honest, companies have every right to employ whomever they want, and when anti-Semitic pogroms in 1870 happened in Jerusalem and anti-Semitic attacks came often in the Ottoman Empire, why not employ people you know and trust over people you don't?

Now, for the rest of it: no one in this conversation (except for maybe yourself) is trying to claim that one side or the other is completely blameless. Arabs did some absolutely awful things to Jews in the years following the first Aliyah. But there is no truth to the idea that Palestinians have no other reason to hate Israelis than that they're Israelis or that they're Jewish.

I never said there was no other reason. But I maintain that the opening of the Zionist-Palestinian conflict was a result of anti-Semitism on the part of Palestinians. It was not the fault of the Zionists.

You claim with one breath that Palestinians aren't inherently violent, and then defend the idea that it was anti-Semitism that drives them to violence. Which is it? Are they inherently violent or inherently racist?

Inherently violent people are people who are prone to violence because they're born that way. I believe that indoctrination is the cause, not being born that way. Anti-Semitism was a pattern of indoctrination.
