Odd, I actually think the opposite. I feel the first shooting is the weakest case for self defense. Its the hardest to see from what i found but it just looks like he is being chased around by an unarmed shirtless man.

Yep. They are going to discuss whether shooting that unarmed man required deadly force. I really don't think they are going to shy away from murder 2 there (manslaughter) and I think it is a fair charge given the context of the video.

The rest is probably reckless endangerment, illegal possession of that gun, breaking curfew (he was a minor), and obviously possibly more murder charges. The implications of this case are actually pretty huge.
