Like others in this thread something similar happened to me when I was living in Florida. I was in 9th grade and my parents were going through a rough divorce, so I inevitably fell in with the skater/druggie/goth crew at my school. I had good grades, but I would often skip school with my friends to smoke up. Anyways, about halfway through the school year the administration caught wind of this and set up a trap. Myself and about 10 other kids were rounded up and taken in for search and questioning by the police.

Many of my friends had either nothing or 0.5g of weed on them. The ones with the weed were immediately arrested, expelled, sentenced to 180 hours of community service, and had to continue their high school through "Phone schooling".

Myself? I had 4 Coors Lights that I had taken out of my Mom's refrigerator that morning. I was arrested in front of my Mom, suspended, had to serve 60 hrs community service, 12 weeks of outpatient rehab, and also had to be a juror in 'teen court' for 4 trials. The administration absolutely could not believe that I intended to drink these beers myself. "There is no way a 14 year old can drink 4 coors lights!!!!". They tried to get me on intent to distribute, expel me, and tried to convince my Mom I was the head honcho drug dealer who told them how preposterous that sounded. All the while I heard about how I had fucked up my life and this was it for me.

The most interesting thing of all of this though is what it is like for a 14 year old skinny/short white boy to go into a Rehab clinic in Davie, Florida. I was bullied every single time I went there by everyone else because I was "addicted to marijuana". My god I do not miss living in Broward County.
