I am not exactly in glee that I was born a Persian in Iran but at least I was not born a ***, Coincidentally all the 15% of murders in Iran that are 'honor-killings' happen southwards where most *** live. Iranic and Turkic ethnic groups of Iran are far from what you would call 'patriarchal' people, at least compared to ***. In Iranic and Turkic parts of Iran women work their ass off to provide a double income for the family. Even a female without college education has a vast array of professional roles to choose from. Jobs female take in Iran includes almost everything, from judge, lawyere and physician to tech support and working at the local coffeeshops. They can even be prostitutes ,legally.
