What are your true crime “hot takes”?

Missing people are the most baffling and is very stressful for SO and family. I have mentioned her we had a family member missing for 15 years. Except he was missing. He wasn't alive but maybe unaccounted for. His remains sat in the Hillsborough County Storage facility until an old HS buddy decided to do detective work. My cousin was homeless and schizophrenic. He died on a park bench in Tampa Bay Fl in 1999. After my uncle died his mother couldn't handle him so she threw him out of the house. But he was an adult.

The most disconcerting is the loss of a child or a family member that was very active socially or was stable and in a stable relationship. Now some of those that get reported as missing that on the surface "looks stable". When authorities start digging they find that there was trouble in the relationship.
