Haha, my Emom wedding story:

She made a big deal about my wedding and how she would walk through fire to be there etc. My wedding comes around and she manages to stay in town for two days (goes on and on how hard it is to get the time away from work), blew off the rehearsal dinner where she could have spent more quality time with me and my new relatives, blew me off the next day with excuses about how she was too busy to get lunch or do anything even though I specifically set the day aside to spend with her and told her what time to meet me (and I hadn't seen her in a year). Turned out she took herself to a very fancy and expensive lunch. Meanwhile I ate alone and wondered where she was until she decided to call me an hour and a half after we were supposed to meet. She also showed up to the wedding in a weird, kind of mismatched and casual outfit. Didn't once bother to ask about the dress code or consider the time of year and venue.

But then, four months before my wedding she was in Europe for her in-law's wedding for close to a month. A few months after my wedding she has no problem renting out an apartment on the beach for a week for some friend of a friends wedding two states over. A month after that, no problem dropping everything she's doing for a sudden two week vacation five states over for her friend who literally decided to get married in a car at a drive-through chapel at the last minute. She went on and on about all the activities they had planned for the trip and seemed upset that I wasn't more excited for her.

But you know, I'm sure she would have plenty of great and self pitying excuses for why I'm the one who has the problem, not her.

However in light of all this, I still find this photo hilarious and painfully true:)
