"Once you were old enough, what were the dark family secrets you were finally let in on?"

When I was 14 I learned that I was adopted by my step dad. My bio dad was in prison for 12 years (starting when I was 2) for using meth and shooting someone.

Turns out he was cheating with my step-mom. I have 4 sisters from my bio-dad I didn’t know about. I have a half brother/sister from my step-dad, and one full sister.

Funny enough, my step dad was an ass hat, and my bio dad turned out to be cool as fuck once he got sober. I love the hell out of my step mom and all of my sisters I got to know. 10 years later everything smoothed over and we all get along. Everyone ended up hating my step dad as he was abusive, I even changed my last name back to what it was at birth (my step dad changed my last name to his so I wouldn’t know I was adopted)
