I tried to watch an episode of star wars once and it was just so terrible that I couldn't get through 5 minutes of it. Like the costumes were possibly the most boring thrift-store trash I've ever seen, the characters had zero development, the entire premise was super cheesy, the plot moved super slowly, and the special effects were total garbage.
I don't know how that dumpster fire came out of the same time period which gave us nuclear weapons and radar because the amount of intelligence you'd need to enjoy that kind of show is lower than peppa pig. Did people have smaller brains back in the 70s or something, or was it all the lead in the water that made them allergic to producing quality television like House of Cards?
