What's it like living in a world were facts are racist?
Fact: 47% of the homicides in the US are committed by 12% of the population
Fact: In 83% of homicides committed by blacks, the victim is also black.
Fact: If blacks committed a proportionate number of homicides relative to their population, the US's Homicides per 100K would be 1.2/100K rather than 4.7/100K.
We don't have a gun problem in the US. What we have is a small portion of the population who think killing people over street corners is awesome. Stay away from those corners (aka stay the fuck out of black neighborhoods) and a person is in no more danger than if they were in Australia.
YOU are the reason why nothing is being done about that small portion of the US Population. By labeling (and thereby suppressing/dismissing) these facts as racist and instead wasting time/resources by chasing after phantoms (FYI, there are twice as many whites in poverty than blacks) your ignoring the real problem.
A culture that glorifies violence and disrespect while at the same time showing a strong disdain for education (poor schools get more Federal/State funds per student then wealthy ones) and other avenues to a positive, non-killing, life.
