There’s also a speaker inside that plays sounds from a bird sanctuary. I pass it on my walk to and from work. I discovered this on my walk home late one night when the song I was listening to had ended as I was walking passed it so there was a quick moment of silence between songs. I paused the next song, slightly leaned toward the sound and just stared. I was probably like 25 feet away from this thing just standing there staring at it for like a a good 30 seconds until I could make out what the sound was. Once I identified the sound I slowly approached the statue to confirm the sound was coming from it. Then I started thinking to myself, it’s 2 in the morning right now what if someone were to see me and they’re like “wtf is this crazy asshole doing?”
