People dancing on and attacking at ambulance while it tries to help someone at Astroworld. 8 people died.

50k people vs a few hundred officers and people are still confused as to why security couldn't do much. It's literally the people who enjoy his music and the shit he says/promotes. Everyone keeps dancing around it to not try and paint a group of people a certain way.... but his fanbase and the fanbases of a lot of the rappers kids that age look up to, literally beg for this wild shit and don't care or dont' understand the consequences. They saw the lasting images of a dying breed of rockstar without understanding any of the nuance or the differences in how each kind of crowd might act in response. rock and metal have had their moments like this but mostly way in the past and very rarely. In just the last 5 years Travis has been in court twice and had a lot of serious issues with his crowds and what he does to get them frenzied and rowdy. LOTS of people have been hurt. The kids who see it and are drawn to it, don't understand mosh pit etiquitte cause this is their first mosh pit . They don't understand the drugs they're taking. They don't understand how crowds work. All they see is a person that promotes highly individualized and self-centered behavior, and they want to buy into the whole kit and kaboodle. It could have happened to any generation, with any scene, it just happens to be happening now. This isn't the fault of hip-hop or anything except the swath of people drawn to this in particular, which skews mostly young and very largely white.
