Honestly I think in part it’s pushback for the recent slew of posts in this sub that seem to be working on building a narrative showing the US as just as bad as other current war crimes being committed by Russia in Ukraine. I’ve been in this sub for a few years and while it does get items like this posted the recent string of posts is a clear deviation from the norm. And with the ongoing war in Ukraine I can’t help but make that connection. While yes the US is certainly not clean the timing is suspicious. But anyways, word gets around and I’m sure we are going to see more people showing up in defense of the US on these posts. Lots of Americans on Reddit.
