People of Reddit, What are your "core memories" (a la Inside Out)?

Top 10 in chronological order:

  1. Wetting the bed and waking up in the crib at around 3 years of age. I remember my father looking at me and telling me to go back to sleep. This one always stuck for some reason, I'm 25 now.

  2. Having my Charizard pokemon card stolen from me

  3. Scoring my first and only goal in soccer to win the game and my family celebrating on the side line. I dribbled it through 3 defenders and got to the keeper and just kicked. I have no idea where the ball went I just remember everyone celebrating and running back to half way excited.

  4. My first game of 3 on 3 basketball. Me and my cousins used to always play in the backyard but this was the first time we played guys that were older then us. I hit 4 3 pointers

  5. My great uncle passing away overseas and then my little cousin being run over and passing away a week later. This kind of made me a little desensitized to death without seeing a body. I had another cousin pass away and I felt nearly nothing, and one more 3 years later where I only truly felt the shock when I saw him at the wake.

  6. My flu game in basketball. I was a big Michael Jordan fan...big and I had the flu. Our team only had one substitution and he fouled out early. Another one of our players fouled out so we had to play 4 on 5. I scored 41 points and grabbed 15 or so rebounds with 5 or more blocks.. I went absolutely ape shit this game, got home didn't even shower and slept for 6 hours.

  7. When my ex girlfriend and I became official. It was terrifying putting my happiness in someone elses hands. But it was probably perfect since I had been crushing on her for so long. But fairytales don't exist and we didn't last...She's cool though and we kind of wish the best for each other. You know when a match isn't right.

  8. Getting a blowjob ontop of a nightclub in Croatia looking over the a harbour. What better ay to start off your eurotrip sexual adventures than to be on top of a rave cave and copping it sweet from a really hot girl you met 10 minutes earlier.

  9. Watching Kobe's last game in Cleveland (I'm from Australia and had never been to America nor experienced an NBA game...but I had to go to this)

  10. First break up. I was suffering from bad anxiety and depression and this kind of tipped it over the edge. But it also made me see the light side and like...no matter the emotions you feel, you're still breathing and can build yourself back up again.
