I'm only anti-weed for myself. For 2 main reasons. I used to smoke a lot of pot and:
There were a lot of times I couldn't get my ass off the couch to go do stuff that would have been fun, enriching stuff because I was too busy sitting around with my roomies being stoned.
I smoked pot because it helped me relax and sleep (always had trouble falling asleep when I was younger). At some point, I realized it was starting to do the opposite..instead of relaxing me and helping me sleep better, it was making me paranoid and I started having panic attacks every time I smoked. So I stopped.
If other people like weed and it makes them feel good..then go for it.
