Of the people who are still alive but have drifted out of your life, who do you wonder about the most and why?

I dated this girl in high school and early college. About 5 years total. We were in love, but she wanted to take that next step well before I was ready.

Like lots of guys in their early 20s, I was just wanting to party. She wanted to get a little more serious and start a family. I lied to her about getting her a ring and getting more serious. She found out that I was full of it not too long after and it took her a while to muster it up, but she ended it. As she totally should have.

She married some other guy from our high school. They started dating like 3 months later or something. This was 10 years ago now.

I'm married now too, with an awesome 2 year old son. I love my life, I love my wife. My life turned out exactly how it should have.

I hope she feels the same way. I haven't tried to reach out in a few years, but im pretty sure she still has me blocked on everything. I just wish I could genuinely apologize. Not coming from a place of trying to fix it or win her back like I did 10 years ago, just from a "hey, I hurt you and there's no excuse for that and I'm sorry," type of way.
