People who got fired from their job, how did you take it?

I actually didn’t get fired but I almost did. I worked in a restaurant as a server for 2 years and I enjoyed it most of the time but when I got one of my best friends a job there me and her would constantly get yelled at for not being productive or messing around too much. Like having a little fun a work was a crime I know they say “I’m not paying you to stand around” but we got paid less that $4 an hour and we can’t have a bit of fun while the restaurant is empty and there’s nothing to do?? The one thing we almost got fired for was hitting each other with wet rags the only reason we had gotten in trouble for this was because the manager was watching the cameras at the time, but the other servers can throw raw bacon and eggs at each other, cook name tags into pancakes, and put each other in trash cans all while the manager is watching and laughing along with them. We had also taped a french fry to the wall and drew a face on it because we thought it would be funny and we got in trouble for not being productive. My best friend had put her 2 weeks in a few months into working there because she got tired of getting yelled at for little things and nobody really liked her for no reason, she did her job well and was nice to everyone. I ended up quitting or the same reason and many others, but they were planning on firing me anyway. But if I did get fired I would’ve cared the work environment was toxic.
