This is a little off topic as it's about a rapist but I thought it's definetly worth sharing.

A friend of mine, call her Mia, told me a story just yesterday about a man, let's call him Erik. Mia knew him via her dad as he was a good friend of him, and she genuinly liked him. Erik was an animal ambulancier, he had a parrot which he taught to speak, he learned my friend a card trick when she was a kid, he really seemed like a cool guy.

A few years ago, Mia and her dad saw an article in a newspaper saying Erik was being jailed. Turns out he had been using meds for animals to sedate numerous women and rape them, for over a decade. Police also found child pornography on his computer. You can bet this came as a huge shock to both of them.
