i’m gay. may december couples are rare and treated the same way they are among heteros: with great skepticism, and rightly so. i am pushing 40 and would not dream of dating any younger than maybe 30, nor would any of my friends. guys my age who do that generally end up a bit shunned. it differs somewhat in major cities with huge gay populations, in your average city, let alone nantucket, it is in no way the norm, relations between men no more than +-10 years are.

in general, there is a definite etiquette to cruising interactions, they do not condone reaching down someone’s pants in a perfectly normal, average restaurant-bat in nantucket, between any parties, let alone one with such a dramatic power and age difference.
