Why is Pornography, the most deviant of all businesses, still accepted widely as a legitimate business?

Well, just to clarify:

I was actually NOT comparing the manufacturing conditions involved with smartphone production facilities, to the production of pornography that involves children, slaves, and unspeakable suffering.

You had mentioned "legitimate business" above, in the title, as well as in the original comments you made with this post (but those original comments are now flagged as "removed" on my screen).

So... going by what you said, I assume we are talking about "LEGITIMATE" and legal producers of pornography and erotica, NOT illegitimate/illegal producers of pornography.

Thus the comparison I am operating under, based upon your own question and comments is this:

1) A 20 year old woman living in California, gets paid a lot of money to do a lingerie photography session, involving complete nudity.

compared to:

2) Conditions in which a LEGITIMATE business, such a multibillion dollar corporation, has ONGOING issues of horrific conditions in overseas factories/facilities, involving insanely long work days/weeks, for shockingly low "pay".

The way you had phrased your comments (which again are now marked as "removed" was strongly singling out "legitimate" pornography producers as being the only part of the business sector that has major moral issues.

The comments also seemed to characterize/stereotype all actresses in such movies as "drug users". But not all of them are.

And of course, it's not just actresses in the legitimate-porn-businesses that might have a tendency to do drugs... that applies equally in Hollywood production levels, and the entire music industry.
