Profhilo gone wrong

PHD here. Profhilo is not a filler.
Profhilo is a non-cross-linked product made up of low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, injected deep into your skin to boost hydration, and it can NOT physically fill any areas. Alas, there is nothing to dissolve there. It physically can't fill let alone remain in place. It can cause swelling tho but that should subside unless you have an underlying health condition. Dissolving it using hyaluronidase is simply not necessary and won't do anything. Profhilo may leave bumps but these should subside withthin a week of treatment. Some may persist longer but will eventually spread out. The product does NOT have the physical properties required to remain in your skin. Was it really prohilo or are you talking about a different product/the injector used a different product. One thing to notice, ANY injectible can result in keloid scar formation if you prone to them. If you have got an auto-immune condition, cancer or circulatory diseases, then profhilo/skin boosters are not good for you. Your bumps do look like the product may have been injected superficially. Again, this is not a problem and will eventually resolve but should not happen again. What needle did she use? Profhilo is injected at a depth of ca. 4mm using a 8mm needle or a 4mm needle straight down. Make sure your injector goes deep enough. Bumps are normal and a sign water is being attracted to the area but should dissolve within a week or so. Max 2.
