Protesters get saved by a cop from another cop

Look I’m not looking to get into a reddit argument but this legal process is what I do for a living. You sir are half right. There is protected speech, but you can not act disorderly in doing so. Tell me which states disorderly charge allows you to openly swear in public at police? And whether or not if you are committing a crime, if you are in suspicion of a crime, you have to identify yourself to police. Otherwise every idiot who’s a suspect can just refuse to identify and get away Scott free.

I’ve seen cases where suspects could have easily been ruled out if they just identify themselves, but no, everybody’s a lawyer nowadays. Body camera footage show the police stating they are looking for a specific person and asking for someone to identify themselves, suspect refuses and goes to jail for obstruction. When they finally identify (which they all do) the charge doesn’t just get dropped, you must identify if law enforcement is doing any official investigation.
