OP argues that no one cares enough about Puerto Rico. However, no where in this thread has he done anything but belittle others and act holier than thou. He hasn’t even spoken to the current situation in PR, so I will.
OP is angry that there’s no outrage over PR:

Some of my friends don’t know if their family and friends are dead or alive. Some have been able to make contact, but know their families have no water, shelter, or clean clothing. Others have not been able to make any contact and fear for the worse. These are MY friends. They are terrified. They believe this is intentional genocide so the US can take over the island and white wash it. I don’t have an opinion one way or another, they know their territories politics better than I ever could.
Communication is down almost completely. So media resources are scarce. There’s rumors that sat phones are being brought in and are unavailable. Only 20% of the country has power. 3.5 million people live in the American territory. I’m not sure the people in San Juan know what is happening on the other side of the
On 50% of Americans know that Puerto Rico is part of the United States. The mayor 9; PR, who has electricity, is begging for help. It took our president 4 days to respond. He was golfing.
American media can’t get access to the island. Only military 24/7. Civilians can’t leave or enter the territory.
The issue they’re having is distributing the goods that are incoming. 4,200 troops on the ground isn’t enough.
The only thing I’ve heard from op in this thread is op condoning others for not spreading awareness about PR. What I have not seen from op is speak to what the situation actually is down there. Op is condemning others and yet op hasn’t even spread ANY information to ANYONE on this post.
All OP does is insult them and then act holier than thou. He told me I was unchristian, un-Christ-like, amongst other insults.
I hope this information helps paint a picture about the humanitarian crisis in PR.
