If such a video did exist and was released I could actually see it working Trump’s favor - hear me out.

I don’t think the sex tourism would be an impeachable offence as it occurred before his political career and didn’t involve state affairs. If true, this would mean he was safe from legal trouble while in power.

The general public would never be allowed to view an uncensored version of it given its content. There might be a heavily censored version that shows Trump having sex with someone, but that’s it. This would be and his supporters to hand waive it away as more fake news, and claim it’s a look-a-like anyway.

Now here’s the good part - it’s not clear if journalists would be exempt from laws forbidding the downloading and viewing of this material. If Cooper/Olbermann/Maddow came forward and said “I’ve watched it, and yes they’re underage” that might be all Trump needs to order loyal parts of the FBI to arrest those people and seize all computer and media equipment from their offices, newsrooms, homes, etc. You would turn the TV on one day and CNN/MSNBC would just have an “off air” message.

If Trump really wanted to be a dictator that’d be a good start. He would just need the Russians to make a the video, but with a look-a-like that could later be proven fake.
