Yeah, tbh I agree with some of your points, there is a lot of behind-the-scenes dealings, and deals made in back rooms, that we never hear about.

And there is a lot of corruption, especially with banking. And there is evidence indicating that politicans have collaborated with banks in ways that are not ethical, or serve the best interest of the majority of Americans.

And American foreign policy is dubious at best... the president will try to sell conflicts to the American people citing human rights violations, however the president only focuses on some regimes (aka those of political interest) while tolerating other human rights abuses in other countries.

Libya is a great example of this. Yes, Ghadiffi was a warlord, however he had to be. There is no other option. Libya was a collective of religious cults and warlords fighting for power between each other and Ghadiffi was trying to straighten them out and form a unified country. After France and USA "intervened" to "save Libya" things got even more fucked. Today nearly 5-years later, Libya is still in a civil war and there is an incredible amount of violence in that country. We essentially destablized that entire region, and made things a lot worse there.

The thing is, new evidence has come to light, through Hillary's e-mails, that France and the USA and the EU supported a rebellion in Libya because Ghadffi was becoming to powerful, he was beginning to refine the natural resources including natural gas and oil (Libya has a lot) and Ghadffi was planning on creating a pan-African currency similar to the Euro (think basically the Euro but for Africa.)

It incredibly saddens me to see how much corruption there is in this world, and how cruel people can be to one another, for the sake of power and preserving the status quo.

And the sad thing is, many people in this thread are not even awake, like you mentioned.
