Questions about Zenith

I believe they're still waiting on approval for the 41. I am not positive on that, but last I heard that was the case I think.

If you want an HK-91/G3 clone get a PTR-91. They build all their parts in-house on HK tooling just like the Z-41. Their GI models are built 100% to spec of the original G3, including the same fluting and barrel profile. The GI models also now use the metal HK lower.

The "F" models are their precision models. These use the HK Navy lower (polymer), and they have bull barrels made for better accuracy.

Generally, the GI model will eat everything you put in it. The "F" models will be a bit more picky, and they should run with just about any factory ammo and work well with match ammo.

That said, also, the PTR is a proven and extremely reliable clone representative of the original G3. The MKE Z-41 is a totally new gun so there's no telling yet how it'd be. MKE makes great clones, so I would bet it'd be great.

There's also the Century C308, but that is junk so I would avoid. Another option is the Moore Advanced Dynamics G3, but you pay $1,000 over the PTR for the MAD G3 for what is essentially just a better finish.
