Saturday Morning Political Cartoon Thread

I realize this is intended as a joke, but Bagley isn't exactly wrong here. There is a sizable contingent of Trump supporters who deeply resent the idea of an elitist oligarch like Bloomberg buying the election, many of whom are willing to join forces with people they disagree with on other issues in order to keep Bloomberg out of the White House.

Smart progressives will take advantage of the opportunity Bloomberg's candidacy presents by forming coalitions with people on the right. Many of the people on the right most opposed to Bloomberg initially became Trump supporters because after the rigged shitshow that was the 2016 DNC primaries, and could be persuaded to come back if a less corrupt candidate were nominated. Hell, most of them don't even agree with Trump's fascism, they just aren't able to speak out against it because that's kind of how things work in Trumpland.

If Bloomberg does get the nomination, though, we're all pretty much fucked. This election is going to come down to turnout, and Mike Stop & Frisk Bloomberg is not the kind of guy that gets people fired up and eager to cast their vote for oligarchy. I know polls have him beating Trump just like everyone else, but those polls are measuring how likely voters plan to vote when the important variable is how likely an eligible voter is to come out and vote for their candidate. Bloomberg could easily lose to Trump, and I don't see America surviving that.
