[Men who are in a relationship/married to a woman] How many of you got with a single mum and loved it? Why?

I have to disagree from a personal standpoint, I'll never be with a man who already has children again.

I agree with that last bit, I'm a single mother now. I had an amazing man of 5 years, we shared 3 children (none together, that was this year's plan), had a mortgage, well paying jobs... But his kids always had to come before my son. We broke up November, I lost my house, all of my personal possessions, luckily not my son. All due to extremely serious reasons. We planned more children this year, we spoke about marriage. We wanted to solidify, unfortunately I didn't understand the abuse before it got out of hand.

Beautiful relationship, both providers almost equally... Then gone.

One day I'd love that again, a man or a woman who is my equal, one with love and compassion and a definite future together. Most single mothers in my experience aren't just looking for a provider.
