Not necessarily GUILD drama but serverwide drama. My server had a particular problem with drama during vanilla, the widely agreed upon slogan was.. "Thunderlord, We Know Drama". It was like a soap opera, but it was fun and it created a real community in some kind of terrible way.

Anyways, one day I'm running around in Westfall for no reason as my level 60 Alliance rogue. I happen across a Shaman standing in the middle of a field, I don't attack immediately, I just kind of watch him. He turns to me and does /beckon, so I walk over and he motions for me to follow him. He leads me to a large pack of horde lowbies (most were 40ish) that are hiding in elwynn forest, and points at them, then points and me and tells me to charge. So I walk over and kill all of them while he's /loling at them. We walk into Duskwood and I point at a random alliance lowbie, who he promptly blows up. I see where this is going.

We spend the next hour or so pointing at people of our faction and having each other kill them, having a blast (at other people's expense, I admit) all without words. Anyways, eventually we part ways and I go on about my life. The next day he manages to borrow a friends alliance account and message me their Ventrilo information. Apparently, we had murdered the alt of one of the biggest guilds (it was a zerg guild, invited everyone) on the server and he was having a total meltdown on the realm forums. I checked it out, and this dude was furious. I was called a traitor, a loser, etc. etc. It went on for several paragraphs, and the post was several pages long at this point of people agreeing and disagreeing. The dude wasn't particularly well liked anyway, so, anything he said was already the subject of mockery.

Anyways, the whole thing kind of thrust me into infamy on the server and I wound up making some (so far) life long friends because of that one connection I made with a shaman in Westfall. I also rolled horde with the friends I was already playing with on that server (Yeah, we deleted 60s in vanilla to change factions.. rough times) and have been horde ever since.
