I have reported quite a few players for harassment and racism in the chat. I know there's the whole "just close your eyes/walk away" and like, yeah, it's easy to just turn off trade chat or add someone to an ignore list. But that's not really the issue, it's more that... it happens at this level of frequency? I try to call them out as much as possible as well and I thank you for doing the same, because it's important that people who think it's okay to do that realize there are consequences to their actions. Being able to play and speak in the game is a privilege and using it to call people slurs and talk about rape should get that privilege taken away.

As for the "that's life" argument I see a lot: I imagine most people are playing role playing games so they don't have to deal with the same things they do in real life, which would be racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. You can be whoever you want in a game and yet somehow being a 7-foot tall elf with purple hair still gets you called the n-word. Don't understand it at all.
