Everyone is jumping straight to calling Whedon a racist or they’re just making memes or wishing death threats at the guy. We have no capability of looking at a story in its entirety anymore and making rash decisions. We go straight for whatever will bring us moment of clout.

And the frustrating thing is there’s a legit conversation to be had here around what Whedon did and workplace culture. But it’s like we’re not mature enough anymore to have that.
