You really can't defend this

Got an English degree. I make six figures. I’m not too lazy or too stupid to do STEM; I just hate the content and would hate my life if I had to do it every day. I’m so fucking over the STEM superiority complex. Other degrees are necessary and useful. If we all had STEM degrees, they’d be worthless and the world would suck.

My partner majored in math. Everything he does for work in tech he learned on the job. Sure, he learned how to think in the “right” way but advanced calculus sure doesn’t help write his python scripts. At least I use the actual content of my degree in my work regularly. I know the same isn’t true for him.
