I REALLY don't want to go to the grocery store.

The difference is that it's a concentration vector. Like a funnel.

When you have a few people delivering the same groceries to everyone it concentrates things.

And whereas we treat everything as if it were infected, we don't know if it is or not and the vast majority of things are not.

We hope our sanitization procedures are adequate but none of us know for sure. Not even the CDC who keeps changing the info. One day the virus can live on cardboard for a few hours, the next up to a week or longer the next a few days.

One day we're told to wash our hands for a full 20 seconds the next, it needs to be something different. One minute we're hearing disinfectant is good at sanitization the next we're hearing it sometimes takes hours for the disinfectant to work.

So would you rather have a product that came through a concentration funnel or that was randomly selected by you at the store? It seems much less likely that an actual virus molecule will be picked up without the concentration funnel.
