Recurring pattern in dreams

I would explore the idea that there are unassimilated issues that may be keeping you up at night in your dreams. Maybe you are already aware of some issues you need to work on, but have yet to begin working on those issues. I know some people that are insomniacs and have difficulties reaching deep sleep (REM stage), and consequently have no dreams but plenty of internal “stress dialogue”. Whereas, I know that I have no problems with falling asleep, but the internal “stress dialogue” I missed having or avoided through my waking day almost always follows me in to my dreams through symbols that don’t make much sense without further interpretations. There are things you may need to confront before you can fall asleep symbolically, if you have no issues doing so in the literal sense.
