Redditors of Europe who are witnessing the "migrant crisis" what is the mood like of the locals in your country? And how has it affected you?

Greece has 13 millions of people (estimated population). Out of this, around 4 millions are immigrants/refugees/however you want to call them (not all of Syrian origin obviously). Do you know how many Albanians/Pakistani/Iraq/Iran people do we have here? Greeks have actually starting to become a minority. Stop with the propaganda and come and have a look here. Most Greek islands are trapped. The city centre of Athens is full of foreign homeless people. We cannot afford to take care of ourselves (and stop with the pay your taxes thing, you better say that to the politicians and millionaires who actually do not pay their taxes, an average citizen pays his/her taxes even with a 400 euro salary). How are we supposed to take care of them?? Where is Europe's aid on this matter? Under negotiations, EU is supposed to fund countries like Greece on the refugees issue. The situation is horrific and people have still the audacity to expect from us to facilitate more foreign people. If you like them so much, take them to your wealthy countries. But you wouldn't like that. You wouldn't like your taxes to go to the expenses for these people's basic needs. Sorry if I do sound mean, but it is a hell lot different from what the media wants to portray. Spend 2 months here and you will realise this awful situation on your own. If you are in a country where you struggle on a 14-hour job (daily without ANY days off), getting 400-600 euros (delayed while rent and bills cannot wait), and you are asked to give from your OWN food to people coming here, how "communist" can you really be? I am terribly sorry, but I cannot help. "I" represents a great deal of Greek people, I am not speaking about the 10% that avoids taxes, gets a hell lot of money and early pensions. I cannot speak for other countries, but I am sure some of them experience this too. You can downvote me, you can call me whatever you want to, you can insult me, but you will never shut the truth. I apologise if this was insulting and if it sounded racist, but there is a great difference between being racist and not being able to help anymore.
