I took 'shrooms at a resort in Bali, Indonesia. It started out pretty good just swimming in the pool and making a dick of myself in front of hotel guests (starting conversations with people and just losing myself mid sentence). I then started to trip real bad and made my way to my room. I was going into these trips for what felt like hours at a time and then suddenly I would snap out of it for a couple of minutes. During this time i would try and convince myself that it was the drugs that were causing these trips and it would be over soon. It wasn't enough to keep me calm and i found myself over analysing every single thing I did that day. I convinced myself that me and my friends were in the centre of this elaborate scam from the hotel workers to steal our money and passports and stop us from going home. I ran out of the resort and walked around the streets for ~8 hours tripping off my balls trying to find the airport to fly home. I didn't trust anyone and so many of the natives approached me and offered their assistance. At this point I was convinced the whole island was in on this scam and fled at every chance I got. I was convinced that night that I wouldn't be going home and would ever see my family again. It was fucked. I eventually bit the bullet and put all my trust into a taxi driver and got a lift back to my resort where I crashed until midday. All and all the worst experience of my life. If you're going to take acid or shrooms please do so in the company of friends and don't take things too seriously! I've tried acid a few times after that with friends and had a much better experiences.
