Riot, stop shoehorning balanced mages into the support role (thoughts on Karma's PBE changes)

So here is the opinion + a bit of story time from a karma main since s1:

Karma V1.0

Before the first major rework she was one of the best champions at baiting because of how powerfull her passive was + she was a great lane bully pre 6 with huge effective ratio's per ability because of mantra(e2 was 0.8 shield and 0.8 damage ), but her low range combined with the knowledge needed by her team to use q2 w and e2 effectively made her prety unpopular even after a few buffs. Still she remained prety strong in 3v3 though(where i mainly played her).

Karma V2.0

Then comes the major rework. Passive is removed because its seen as free power which is considered bad. New passive rewards long duration in fights and capability to use auto attacks, most baiting potential moved to w2 and e2 made as a great engage tool but overall offensive power reduced significantly: 2 damaging abilities instead of 3 only 1 of which aoe instead of 3, kinda offset by bigger range. Karma is for now better at solo fighting and at teamfights that last long, she is a prety bad support because she provides mediocore cc/mobility and mediocore damage but is a great toplaner and a decent midlaner because of her power in w2.

For the older karma players the whole karma 2.0 felt like a whole different champion but the baiting potential was still there, but now there is far less interaction and reliance on allies.

Karma V3.0?

So now what i expect of the new rework. Karma 3.0 seems focused around being a better support, the w for monsters also buffs the jungle but i supose karma's clear time will still be prety bad. So now what you get with w2 is increased damage but you lose the bonus damage . So you must be capable with the base damage + anything else you can fire off to do more damage that the old bonus damage. Higly unlikely for a solo lane , probably possible for a duo lane. The healing part is prety much a hecarim w just a bit weaker for solo healing and better for team healing so again nerf to solo lane. Last the shield bomb is gone and replaced with an aoe shield. Now this is the worst possible change and here is why. Karma 2.0 relies on e2 early in the teamfight to reduce the cooldown of the ulti fast . Since now it does no damage if you use e2 your ult will be on cooldown for prety damn long which by no means offsets the power it will have in shielding.

So summing up since i play karma top and mid mainly i dont like the changes at all and they make her far worse, but i supose support players should be happy but they need an adc with knowledge of karmas capabilities and jungler's might wanna give her a try.
